Grant
programs
The Foundation at Great Valley works in partnership with the Great Valley School District to continue to ensure that students' educational experiences are rich in opportunities, deep in experience, and equal for all, regardless of income.
The Foundation is dedicated to supporting teachers and their work with students in the classroom. To that end, a dynamic classroom grant program was established through which teachers can apply for funds. These funds are used for materials and supplies not normally provided for in the school budget.
In the past 3 years, The Foundation at Great Valley awarded 40 classroom grants to teachers in the Great Valley School District, totaling nearly $60,000.
Teachers in the Great Valley School District who would like to apply for a classroom grant are encouraged to submit an application. The Allocation Committee meets regularly to review grant applications. Grants are awarded throughout the school year, as funding allows.
For more information about the classroom grant program, please contact Don Merrill, Allocation Committee chair.
